Eastern-zone infill holes returned more high-grade niobium, including 21.4m at 7.4% Nb2O5 and 38.0m at 3.8%. Luni airstrip is now commissioned with direct flights. Drilling totals 90,000m; a resource update targeting a Measured component is planned later this year; PFS still Q4 CY2026.
Updated resource lifts the Indicated portion by 20 Mt to 93 Mt at 1.32% Nb2O5, with a 35 Mt high-grade subset at 2.57%. Total resource is unchanged at 220 Mt at 1.0%. Indicated share is now 57% of contained niobium; Ore Reserve is the next target.
New holes next to the western Indicated resource include 93.1m at 2.1% Nb2O5 and 6.5m at 6.6%. All data inputs for the resource update are now in, with release expected in the June quarter. Rain delayed the airstrip to next quarter; company says critical path is unaffected.
Southern infill holes returned high-grade niobium, including 9.4m at 9.3% Nb2O5 and 16.0m at 5.6%. Eastern aircore holes extend mineralisation over 400m beyond the resource envelope. 35,000m drilled in 2025 (85,000m total); updated resource still targeted for 2026.
Best Luni hole yet: LUDD-0167 returned 67.3m at 5.4% Nb2O5, including 30.0m at 9.8%. Step-out holes east of the current resource boundary found extensions, such as 73m at 1.8%. Drilling now exceeds 83,000m; resource update still planned for 2026.
Infill assays in the eastern Indicated area include 11.7m at 6.0% Nb2O5 and 29m at 3.0%. Over 80,000m now drilled. An updated resource is now targeted for 2026, and airstrip clearing has begun as the first pre-development site works.
Updated Luni resource is 220 Mt at 1.0% Nb2O5, up 10% from 200 Mt, with a first Indicated portion of 73 Mt at 1.38%. High-grade subset is 53 Mt at 2.2%. This delivers the maiden Indicated target; 46% of contained niobium is upgraded.
Final batch of 2024 assays from west and south Luni includes 11.3m at 12.7% Nb2O5 and 36.4m at 4.9%, plus 11.3m at 4.0% rare earths. Drilling passes 60,000m. Updated resource now expected in June.
Final east Luni assays from 2024 drilling include 19.3m at 3.4% Nb2O5 and 11m at 3.9%. Total drilling passes 55,000m. Updated resource, targeting a maiden Indicated component, is now expected late in the June quarter.
East Luni assays define an exceptionally high-grade zone, including 28.5m at 6.6% Nb2O5 and 27.9m at 5.5%. This is the area targeted for early development. Drilling has restarted with two more rigs planned; updated resource still due first half 2025.
Southern and western Luni assays include 100m at 1.9% Nb2O5 and 5m at 7.5%. Drilling now totals about 50,000m. The updated resource, now aiming for a maiden Indicated category, is expected later in the first half of 2025.
New north-east Luni assays add high-grade niobium, including 25m at 4.4% Nb2O5 and 75m at 1.9%. About 180 holes and 18,000m drilled this year. Site work will pause once drilling for the updated resource, still targeted for first half 2025, is done.
New Luni assays add high-grade niobium, including 20m at 6.4% Nb2O5 (LUSD-0006) and 66m at 2.2%. Southeast rare earths hit 27m at 3% TREO. Three rigs are running; the updated resource is now targeted for the first half of 2025.
Maiden Luni Inferred resource of 200 Mt at 1.0% Nb2O5, including a high-grade 53 Mt at 2.1%. It covers weathered material from 30m to 190m depth, excludes fresh rock, and is open at depth. Delivered on the June-quarter timetable; more drilling targets Indicated status.
Last assays needed for the initial Luni resource are in, with intercepts such as LUDD23-007 35m at 2.2% Nb2O5 and 40.1m at 3.2% (to end of hole). Resource reporting is on schedule for late June; two rigs keep drilling.
Final 2023 extensional assays widen Luni to the east, e.g. LUDD23-025 72.7m at 1.5% Nb2O5. Southeast hole LURC23-093 also hit 7m at 10% rare earth oxides, the best rare earth result so far. Two rigs are running; resource still due this quarter.
Luni assays include the best niobium hole to date, LUDD23-013 at 34m at 4.8% Nb2O5 (incl. 16m at 7.9%), in the north-east. Results continue the shallow high-grade blanket; the initial resource is still on schedule for the June quarter.
Central and western Luni infill assays continue the high-grade blanket, e.g. LURC23-125 23m at 4.3% Nb2O5 and LURCD23-115 124.5m at 1.2%. Drilling restarts, with a second rig due in April. Clovis Sousa joins as niobium processing advisor; resource still due June quarter.
Western Luni assays extend and infill the high-grade zone, e.g. LURC23-240 17m at 3.8% Nb2O5 and LURC23-236 120m at 1.0%. Results from 125 holes reported. Diamond drilling restarts this month, metallurgical testwork has begun, and the maiden resource is still expected in Q2 2024.
Assays from six-hole P2 reconnaissance program, 30km west of Luni, include PARC23-007 114m at 0.5% Nb2O5 and PARC23-006 18m at 0.6%. Mineralisation extends 1km east of the 2022 discovery hole; company says P2 may be a future satellite to Luni. Grid drilling is planned.
Luni central-zone assays close the gap between the western and eastern high-grade zones, e.g. LURC23-069 50m at 2.0% Nb2O5 (incl. 13m at 4.9%). First diamond hole LUDD23-001 hit 31.1m at 2.4%; LURC23-174 12m at 3.0% supports the deeper southeast zone. Drilling paused until 2024.
100m-spaced infill holes in eastern Luni confirm continuity of the high-grade blanket, e.g. LURC23-157 30m at 4.7% Nb2O5 and LURC23-141 15m at 3.3%. Nearly 26,000m drilled this year; maiden resource still targeted for H1 2024, and drilling pauses in early December.
Luni's best broad step-out result yet: LURC23-002 returned 31m at 4.6% Nb2O5, with LURC23-066 41m at 2.8% about 400m west of LURC23-015. This widens the high-grade footprint in the southwest. Drilling continues toward the maiden resource.
New Luni assays 400m west of earlier holes, including LURC23-013 16m at 2.0% Nb2O5, extend the shallow high-grade zone to over 2km east-west. First 100m infill hole LURC23-110 hit 7m at 3.1%. Over 20,000m drilled, with 10,000m more planned this year.
LURC23-102 returned 17m at 2.0% Nb2O5 within 114m at 0.7%, 400m east of LURC23-045, extending the high-grade zone to about 2km. More drilling nearby is planned and further assays are expected in coming weeks.
New Luni assays show continuity of a shallow high-grade niobium blanket now about 1.5km long, e.g. LURC23-078 10m at 4.0% Nb2O5 within 37m at 2.3%. The maiden resource slips from Q4 2023 to the first half of 2024, and assay delays are noted.
The four-hole P2 program is finished. Field observations show carbonatite in three holes (PARC23005-07) with a weathering profile like PARC003, and the intrusion is interpreted at about 2.5km x 1.0km. Assays are pending; more P2 drilling is being planned.
A four-hole RC program has started at P2, 32km west of Luni, where 2022 discovery hole PARC003 hit 54m at 0.62% Nb2O5. Passive seismic and gravity surveys are done to guide targeting; Luni drilling remains the key focus.
More 200m step-out holes extend Luni's high-grade niobium up to 400m in several directions, including LURC23-045 with 41m at 2.4% Nb2O5. It remains open in all directions. Drilling is near 10,000m this year with 68 RC and 4 diamond holes done.
