On August 20, 2012 the partnership and EnerVest reported test results for two Ohio Utica Shale wells. Cairns 5H (Carroll County; EVEP about 43% working interest) flowed at 1,690 barrels of oil equivalent per day over 24 hours. Frank 2H (Stark County; EVEP about 35%) produced 870 barrels of oil equivalent per day without artificial lift, which the company expects to activate within a few weeks. These are initial 24-hour test rates, not long-term production.
