Maiden drilling has started at Jervois Domain: at least 4,000m of shallow RAB and RC holes testing 14 targets over a 15km strike. Drilling should take about 2 weeks, with assays expected in 4-6 weeks. This follows the slip from the late August start.
2015 annual report. The chairman calls 2014/15 a tough year; Core cut full-time staff from four to three and moved offices to reduce rent. It lists Albarta completion, Jervois targets and Yerelina's anomaly. Financial figures are not in the readable text.
Diamond drilling has started at Yerelina: six angled holes, about 1,000m, under outcropping zinc-lead-silver mineralisation at Great Gladstone and Big Hill. It is the first drilling of these targets. Drilling takes 3-4 weeks, with assays expected in October.
The SPP closed raising only $125,500 from shareholders (5.02M shares at 2.5c); underwriters took 18.98M shares, bringing the total to $600,000, plus 12M options at 5c expiring 31 August 2017. Fees of 6% are payable. Both drilling programs are now funded, with Jervois starting late September.
What it means for a shareholder
5.0m new shares at $0.025 to raise about $125,500. Shares on issue before the raise aren't in the record, so the dilution can't be worked out.
Administrative notice that 5,000,000 shares held in voluntary escrow will be released after 3 October 2015. These are the Albarta-deal shares flagged earlier. No new business.
Six diamond holes (about 1,000m) at Yerelina are due to start next week, 50% co-funded by the SA Government through the $75,000 PACE grant. Drilling should take 3-4 weeks, with assays expected in October. This is the first drilling at the never-drilled project.
Core signed a non-binding MOU with an unnamed offshore party to earn up to 80% of the Inkheart/Blueys tenement (EL 28136) by spending $2M over 2 years: 51% for $1M in 12 months. Subject to about 3 months' due diligence and funding approval; a JV is expected around end-2015.
Revised version of the 17 August shareholder letter and project overview, with a competent person statement and a list of prior releases added. The letter content is unchanged. It carries no new information.
Chairman's letter to shareholders restates the SPP: $1.0M target at 2.5c, $600,000 underwritten by Pulse Markets, closing 26 August. It adds that Jervois approvals are in and Yerelina diamond drilling starts within weeks. A mailing of known terms; no new facts.
Core has all approvals for its maiden Jervois Domain drilling: at least 4,000m of shallow RC drilling across 14 targets on a 15km strike, with the rig due in September. It says the SPP underwriting funds it. This firms up the earlier 'late August' start, which has slipped.
The chairman's letter and terms for the Share Purchase Plan were sent to shareholders: up to $15,000 each at 2.5c, targeting $1.0M, with Pulse Markets underwriting $600,000. Closes 26 August 2015. This is the offer document for the already announced raise.

Core launched a Share Purchase Plan to raise up to $1.0M at 2.5c per share, partially underwritten for $600,000, to fund maiden Jervois RC and Yerelina diamond drilling. Underwriters get up to 12M options at 5c, expiring 31 Aug 2017. First drilling is due late August.
A review of 1960s stream sediment data shows a zinc and lead anomaly over more than 30 square kilometres at Yerelina, including Big Hill and Great Gladstone. Core's soil surveys target it; first drilling is expected this quarter. No new assays.
Core commented on Quasar's $71.3m offer for Alliance Resources' 25% of the Four Mile uranium project next to Fitton, and restated old Fitton results such as 60m @ 482ppm U3O8. No new work or Fitton change announced.
The Northern Territory Geological Survey awarded $96,000 to co-fund a 1,000m diamond drilling program at Inkheart, planned for the second half of 2015, to test beneath earlier RC intersections. This resolves the open question of what comes next at Inkheart.
Yerelina exploration found a new mineralised shear, Grace, with up to 14% combined lead and zinc in handheld XRF rock chips, taking known high-grade structures to six. Drilling is targeted as early as Q3 2015; these are surface readings only.
Geophysical modelling with CSIRO defined 14 potential drill targets along a 15km strike at Jervois, plus a 10km stratiform chargeable zone. Core says drilling needs significant funding and it is negotiating with a possible JV partner. This is modelling, not drilling.
Core moved its office to 26 Gray Court, Adelaide, saying the move significantly cuts rent. Executive and senior management have voluntarily reduced fees until market conditions improve. Core also cites a South Australian GAP grant and Federal, Territory and State co-funding awarded in 2015.
New sampling at Yerelina found a gossan over 10m wide at Big Hill, part of a shear zone anomalous in zinc, lead and silver over at least 2km. Channel samples up to 3% zinc. Surface sampling only; the area has never been drilled.
Initial geophysical modelling with CSIRO has identified multiple potential drill targets at Jervois, notably the Dante prospect. Phase 1 modelling is due by end of May, then ground geophysics and drill planning. The March 2015 drilling start has slipped, and no drill date is given.
May 2015 company presentation recaps Jervois multiple drill targets, the NTGS Big-J study, Black Gate soils, Yerelina's PACE-funded drilling and the Fitton uranium discovery. It repeats previously announced facts; no new results in the readable text.
Soil surveys at the new Black Gate prospect, 25km west of Inkheart, show anomalous zinc, lead and silver, with zinc about an order of magnitude higher than at Inkheart. The anomaly is over 1km and open south. These are soil results, not drilling.
Core won a $75,000 South Australian PACE grant to co-fund six diamond holes (about 1,000m) at its Yerelina zinc-lead-silver project, planned for the second half of 2015. Rock chips have run up to 14.7% zinc and 567 g/t silver; the area has never been drilled.
Uranium conference presentation recaps the Fitton discovery in South Australia, including 60m @ 482ppm U3O8 at Scott Lee drilled in 2012-13. These are old results; no new work is announced, and Fitton remains on hold per earlier updates.
March 2015 company presentation recaps the Albarta and Jervois projects, the NTGS Big-J study and the pending CSIRO analysis. It appears to repeat known facts; no new results in the readable text.
A Northern Territory Geological Survey study independently supports Core's view that the Big-J fold may be an extension of KGL's Jervois geology, with 15km of strike on Core's tenure. CSIRO study now runs to July 2015; soil sampling and ground geophysics come first. Drilling is not re-dated in the text.
Notice that 5,000,000 escrowed shares, part of the Albarta buyout consideration, will be released from voluntary escrow after 3 April 2015. These shares can then be sold, which is a potential supply increase. The other 5M stay escrowed to October 2015.
Half-year report to 31 December 2014 shows a net loss of $226,646. It restates the period's activity: Jervois airborne surveys, Inkheart silver-lead intersections, and completed Virginia and Copper Royals drilling. No new information in the extract.
Core signed a Federal Government co-funded research agreement with CSIRO to analyse airborne EM and magnetic data over Jervois and Albarta. Phase 1 targets Jervois extensions; Phase 2 is regional. It formalises the CSIRO alliance ahead of the maiden Jervois drilling. No funding amount stated.
