Blaze agreed to buy Hammerhead Exploration and Iconic Minerals, owners of six Earaheedy Basin tenement applications next to Rumble's zinc-lead discovery, plus Big Bell South. A $1.5M placement was committed. This is a new base-metals direction beyond nickel and gold.
Jimberlana soil sampling (625 samples) defines a 3 km nickel-copper-PGE anomaly along the base of an ultramafic core, with nickel up to 1580 ppm. Early-stage, not a discovery. An induced polarisation survey is planned, with drilling to follow.
Jimberlana tenement E63/2009 granted for five years, resolving a pending grant. Resampled drill spoil supports nickel-copper-PGE potential. Blaze also applied for the Mukinbudin nickel tenement (186 sq km) and other applications, expanding the 90%-owned South West Nickel JV.
Company Secretary Sonu Cheema resigned and Andrew Bickley was appointed from 19 March 2021. Second secretary change in five months; administrative, with no board changes.
Half-year to 31 December 2020: loss $705,113 versus $346,766 a year earlier. Review of operations repeats the nickel survey and Mt Magnet news. Board unchanged; Sonu Cheema is Company Secretary. Text is truncated, so the balance sheet is not visible.
Mt Magnet South aircore drilling (43 holes, 2,221 m) disappointed: best result 4 m @ 0.1 g/t gold. The surface gold anomaly looks transported, not from bedrock. This undercuts the earlier auger excitement. Blaze will now focus on its South West nickel projects.
Aircore drilling began at Mt Magnet South: about 40-50 holes, roughly 2,600 m, over 7 planned sections, taking about 10 days. It tests the 4.5 km gold anomaly flagged by the earlier auger work. Results are expected 3-4 weeks after samples are submitted. Cash is $2.1M.
Company Secretary Loren King resigned and Sonu Cheema was appointed from 20 October 2020. He also becomes the contact person with ASX. Administrative change; no board changes.
Corporate presentation restating the gold (Mt Magnet, Kirkalocka, Leonora) and nickel focus, with 262.5M shares, 237.5M options and cash of $2.3M. Says Mt Magnet drilling is planned for the December quarter. Largely repeats known facts.
Appendix 4G confirming the 30 June 2020 corporate governance statement is on Blaze's website, approved by the board as at 30 September 2020. Compliance paperwork lodged with the annual report; no new operational or financial information.
Annual report for year to 30 June 2020: loss $756,163 versus $710,573. Board is Wheeler, Coxhell and Walker. Blaze holds Kirkalocka, 13 Leonora tenements, the Mt Magnet option and three nickel projects. Text is truncated.
Early nickel soil results: Jimberlana shows platinum-group metals over more than 5 km of strike; Binneridgie shows low-level anomalies (6-13 ppb). An airborne magnetic survey at Binneridgie is planned this quarter. Early-stage, not a discovery.
Mt Magnet auger sampling (540 samples) found gold up to 140 ppb, with the +50 ppb anomaly over more than 4.5 km of strike. It confirms targets for drilling, now planned for the December quarter once the extra program of works is approved.
Mathew Walker joins the board as non-executive director ($40,000 a year); Maciej Rosiewicz resigns. Directors Wheeler, Coxhell and Walker are to be offered 4M options each at $0.05, expiring March 2022, subject to shareholder approval. Shares on issue now 262.5M.
14 July 2020capital raising announcement● NeutralMajor
Blaze launched a placement of up to 52.5M shares at $0.025, about $1.31M (calculated from the text), lifting shares on issue by a quarter from 210M. CPS Capital leads, with 1% management and 5% placing fees.
What it means for a shareholder
52.5m new shares at A$0.025 to raise about A$1.3m. That's 20% dilution: every existing holder's slice gets 20% smaller. If you held A$1,000 of shares (40,000 at the issue price), your slice goes from 0.019% to 0.0152% of the company. To keep it you'd need 10,000 more shares - about A$250 at the issue price.
Blaze took an option to buy 100% of three gold licences (147 sq km) south of Mt Magnet from Eastern Goldfields Exploration. Exercise costs $1M cash plus 7.5M shares and a 2% royalty; $20,000 option fee and $100,000 minimum spend. 50 aircore holes planned.
Re-release of the Mt Magnet option announcement with the JORC Code sampling tables attached. Same terms: $1M plus 7.5M shares and a 2% royalty to exercise. No new substance beyond the technical appendix.

Blaze pegged the Cojinup Creek nickel project: four licence applications covering 738 sq km northeast of Ravensthorpe, Blaze 90% and private party Roland Gotthard 10%. Also pegged a Jimberlana application (about 18 km of strike). Extends the nickel push begun with Binneridgie.
