2 Dec 2019drilling result▲ GoodMajor

Leonora aircore drilling (42 holes, 1,940m) hit gold in two holes: 4m at 1.52 g/t from 52m (BAC005) and 8m at 0.25 g/t (BAC028). The rest showed no significant result. Two areas need follow-up drilling. Follows the earlier auger anomalies.

7 June 2019drilling result▲ Good

Auger sampling at the newly acquired Leonora project (572 samples) found several gold anomalies above 100 ppb and defined 6 priority targets. These are early-stage results to be examined further before possible drilling; no drilling yet.

Blaze suspended Marble Bar RC drilling after 12 holes (702m), all hitting pegmatite but only 2-4m wide, narrower than outcrop. Flatter 30-35 degree dips are thought to explain part of this. Assays due early December; a setback for the lithium thesis.

RC drilling has started at Marble Bar, Blaze's first lithium drilling: 18 initial holes, about 1,580m, possibly extended. The rights issue close moves to 11 January 2017, so shareholders can decide after seeing drill results.

New rock chips at Marble Bar returned up to 3.38% and 2.86% Li2O, with tantalum up to 701ppm. Pegmatite swarms are traced over 5km, adding to the earlier 3.72% peak. RC drilling is due to start in November.

Spodumene found in all outcropping pegmatites at Marble Bar, traced over 5km of strike. Blaze extended its option by two months by committing to at least 3,000m of RC drilling, and plans a $2.1m rights issue at 5 cents. EL45/4669 has been granted.

Phase II diamond drilling is complete. BBDD0004 hit 16m at 3.02% copper, 0.65g/t gold from 139m (incl 4m at 6.49% Cu), a thick sulphide zone. Two holes were abandoned in broken ground, leaving the high-grade gold contact and supergene zone untested.

Phase II RC drilling returned BBRC0012: 31m at 2.48% copper from 116m, and BBRC0010: 11m at 0.98 g/t gold. A new footwall zone of mineralisation was also noted. Five key holes still need diamond tails to reach the high-grade gold position; the diamond rig had mechanical problems.
