History
Vox Royalty grew from a debt-free royalty company into a larger Nasdaq-listed one, funding a big gold portfolio purchase from a 2025 share offering and a bank facility.
2022-2023: A debt-free start
Vox's shares began trading on the Nasdaq on October 10, 2022 under the ticker VOXR, and stopped trading on the OTCQX. They continued to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange. In March 2023 the company reported 2022 revenue of $8,508,105, up from $3,651,717, and net income of $328,179 after a net loss of $4,132,019 the year before. It said it had no debt and raised its quarterly dividend 10% to $0.011.
In April 2023 Silver Mines Limited, operator of the Bowdens silver project in New South Wales, won final development approval, subject to conditions, and upgraded its resource estimate. Vox held a 0.85% gross revenue royalty there, though no construction decision or payments were announced. In June 2023 Vox priced an offering of 3,025,000 new shares at US$2.40, raising US$7.26 million gross for royalty purchases and working capital. Shares on issue rose from 44,758,269 at the end of 2022 to 49,985,102 a year later.
2024: Credit line and Australian royalties
In January 2024 Vox signed a $15 million secured revolving credit facility with Bank of Montreal, with a possible extra $10 million, and nothing drawn at first. In March it reported 2023 revenue of $12,310,594 but a net loss of $101,112, which included a $1,337,206 impairment, mainly writing down four Peruvian exploration royalties to nil after the operator let the claims lapse. Vox sued the operator and could reverse up to $1,000,000 if replacement royalties were granted. The dividend rose 9.1% to $0.012.
In May 2024 Northern Star reported that the Red Hill gold resource in Western Australia had risen 58% to 1.9 million ounces, with a first reserve of 0.6 million ounces. Vox held a 4.0% gross revenue royalty there, and its management estimated about US$10 million of initial annual revenue, over a mine life not yet determined. The same month Vox completed the A$4.7 million cash purchase of four Australian royalties and a milestone payment, including Castle Hill and Kunanalling, with meaningful Castle Hill revenue expected from early 2026.
2025-2026: The Deterra deal
In May 2025 Vox bought a royalty on the producing Kanmantoo copper-gold mine in South Australia for $11.7 million, funded by its first drawdown on the bank facility. Management expected over $3 million of annualized royalty revenue.
In September 2025 Vox closed a public offering of 17,094,750 shares at $3.70, raising about $63.25 million gross, and used it to buy ten gold offtake and royalty assets from subsidiaries of Deterra Royalties for $57.5 million upfront plus $2.5 million in deferred milestones. It was by far the largest deal in the company's history, and the new shares diluted existing holders. Shares on issue stood at 68,364,945 at the end of 2025.
In March 2026 Vox guided 2026 receipts of $28-32 million, against preliminary 2025 receipts of $16.6 million, and raised its quarterly dividend 20% to $0.015, its fourth consecutive annual increase. As of the latest record, in August 2026, Vox described over 70 royalties and streams, 10 of them producing, and had signed a deal for two more royalties for up to A$3.4 million from cash on hand, with completion still subject to conditions.
