Manas applied for two contiguous 100%-owned permits, the Tortiya Gold Project (780km2), over a 40km shear zone with no recorded historical gold exploration. Company says this lifts its holdings by 75% to over 1,811km2. Not yet granted.
After talking with Ivorian authorities, Manas will restart exploration, resuming Mbengué auger drilling and starting Bouaké North soil sampling. This reverses the late-March suspension. Results will be reported later.
Corporate governance checklist (Appendix 4G) lodged with the annual report, pointing to the governance statement on pages 56-67. Administrative filing with no new substance.
Auger drilling at Le Vieux-Phew (Mbengué, 132 holes, 791m) found two parallel mineralised zones each over 1.5km long, with best results 2m @ 23.6g/t gold. Only about 25% of the programme was finished before the COVID suspension; the other five IP targets await testing.
Annual report for the year to 31 December 2019, recapping Mbengué exploration (4,965m aircore, 68 line-km of IP), the Gonsan withdrawal and the Eburnea permit granted after year end. No new results shown in the readable text.
Manas suspended all Côte d'Ivoire fieldwork indefinitely after a COVID-19 state of emergency on 23 March 2020. About 1,000m of a ~4,000m auger programme at Mbengué was done. Cash is A$7.95M; Dielle soil results are expected mid-April.

Permit PR575 (Bouaké North, 385km2, 4-year initial term) was granted to partner Eburnea, with Manas holding an 80% interest. This resolves the long-pending permit thread. A 3,500m auger programme at Mbengué starts next week; results are expected by May 2020.
A new IP survey (23km2) at Mbengué found six anomalies over 1km long, the largest 6km+ long and including Madala. Most remain untested by drilling. Aircore and auger drilling is planned; Dielle soil sampling results are expected in April 2020.

Manas's Ivorian subsidiary was granted a new 100%-owned licence, Dielle (347km2), next to the Mbengué permit, lifting the project area from about 300km2 to over 647km2. Initial term is 4 years. Soil sampling is to follow; an IP survey at Mbengué is under way.
Share registry provider changed from Security Transfer Australia to Automic Group from 20 January 2020. Administrative notice only, with new contact details.
Manas withdrew from the earn-in for up to 85% of the Gonsan Project (about 1,000km2, three permit applications). It cites lack of permit progress and difficult, costly terrain. This closes the long-pending Gonsan thread.
Long-standing non-executive director Mark Calderwood resigned with immediate effect. He had stepped down as chair in November 2018 but stayed on the board. No reason is given and no replacement is named.
Half-year to 30 June 2019 shows a loss of $371,343, versus a $16,079 profit a year earlier. The company attributes the loss to increased Côte d'Ivoire exploration and evaluation of new project opportunities. Restates the Mbengué earn-in terms.
Aircore drilling (100 holes, 4,965m) at Mbengué hit 18m at 1.0g/t, 12m at 1.0g/t and 8m at 1.16g/t gold. The Madala-Turaco corridor is now drilled over 3km of a 9km trend. Results are wide-spaced and early-stage.
Induced polarisation surveys at Mbengué found large anomalies beneath gold-in-soil anomalies, suggesting possible kilometre-scale mineralised zones within 20km of Tongon mine. Auger drilling is planned for October-November after the rainy season; aircore results are due by end of August.
Soil sampling across Mbengué found gold-in-soil anomalies 2-12km long, with 13 of 4,783 samples above 1,000ppb and a peak of 5,560ppb. A 5,000m aircore drilling programme to test them is expected to start within a month.

Manas validated Perseus's historical Mbengué drilling to JORC 2012 standard and published the full results, including newly identified intercepts and two minor corrections to the May release. These are historical Perseus results, not new Manas drilling.
