Patterson Corridor East's high-grade subdomain grew 33% to 550m vertical (from 412m) on a 210m strike, driven by hole RK-26-280c1 at 834m depth. 12,758m of the 42,000m 2026 plan is done; ~29,200m summer drilling starts the week of 25 May.
Patterson Corridor East grew again: high-grade subdomain now 412m vertical (from 335m) on 210m strike; total footprint 700m vertical by 620m strike. A 42,000m PCE program and first 3,500m at SW3 are planned for 2026.
Patterson Corridor East hole RK-25-256 returned 5.5m at 21.4% U3O8 (incl 0.5m at 74.8%), the company's highest-grade assay there to date. It lies 119m down-dip of RK-25-232, extending high-grade mineralisation along at least 215m of dip.
New Patterson Corridor East assays: RK-25-254 10.5m at 11.3% U3O8 (incl 4.0m at 29.4%) and RK-25-244 17.0m at 7.6%. Mineralised footprint now 600m along strike and 600m vertical, extending the discovery made in 2024.
Final 2024 assays at Patterson Corridor East are now all in, plus new hole RK-25-227 at 12.0m at 3.46% U3O8, including 2.5m at 14.9%. It sits 100m from RK-25-232 and RK-24-222, supporting continuity of the high-grade zone.
Patterson Corridor East hole RK-25-232 assayed 15.0m at 15.9% U3O8, including 0.5m at 68.8%, the company's best discovery-phase result. It follows the March reading of >61,000 cps. 64 holes drilled, 35 mineralised; 75% of 2024 assays received; drilling resumes 1 June.
Patterson Corridor East hole RK-25-232 hit 3.9m of >61,000 cps within a 13.8m mineralised interval, called the best discovery-phase hole at any NexGen property. The high-grade zone doubled to 210m strike and 335m vertical; 2024 assays now expected in April.
NexGen began a 43,000m drill program at Patterson Corridor East, 9,000m larger than 2024's. It follows the 2024 discovery, where 19 of 30 holes hit mineralisation. 2024 assays are now due in Q1 2025; the company cites over $800M cash and liquid assets.
The 2024 Patterson Corridor East program ended after 46 holes and over 34,000m, with 19 of 30 holes hitting mineralisation across 600m strike and 600m depth. RK-24-222 is the best hole, a 17.0m vein with off-scale readings. Assays due Q4 2024 and Q1 2025; drilling resumes January 2025.
Patterson Corridor East has grown from two mineralised holes 275m apart to 8 of 12 summer holes hitting mineralisation, over 540m of strike and 600m vertical. RK-24-207 is the best hole yet, with uraninite and 1.5m above 10,000 cps. Assays due Q4 2024; 10,045.5m of 22,000m drilled.
Updated Rook I costs: pre-production capital C$2.2B (US$1.58B), operating cost C$13.86/lb, and production capability up to 30M lbs a year. At US$95/lb, after-tax NPV is C$6.3B and average annual cash flow C$1.93B versus C$2.01B in the 2021 study. No change to resources or reserves.
New hole RK-24-193 hit mineralisation over 67.5m, 275m southwest of discovery hole RK-24-183; assays confirm 13.5m at 0.78% U3O8 in RK-24-183, including 0.5m at 10%. Summer drilling expanded to four rigs and 22,000m at Patterson Corridor East, 3.5km from Arrow.
NexGen found new intense uranium mineralisation on its 100% owned SW2 property, 3.5km east of the Arrow deposit. Hole RK-24-183 hit 19.8m of mineralisation (347.7–367.5m) with peaks over 61,000 cps. It follows the 2024 drill program started in February; drilling is now focused on this area.
NexGen began a 30,000m 2024 exploration drill program, up from 22,114m drilled in 2023, with up to four rigs: 15,700m at SW2 (Rook I) and 14,300m at SW1. Cash was about C$410 million. Federal permitting remains the priority.
Summer exploration drilling started: 17,000m with up to three rigs on the SW2 and SW1 properties, bringing the 2023 planned total to 22,500m. Targets include the R7 and Morrow corridors near Arrow and the Gartner and Gambit corridors. No results yet.
NexGen launches an expanded 2023 exploration program: up to three rigs drilling 22,500 m across nine conductive trends in the SW1 and SW2 areas, plus geophysics. It follows the 2022 summer program and the nearby F3 discovery, aiming to find new Arrow-type zones.
2021 assays confirm uranium below the Arrow deposit, including 0.10% U3O8 over 7.0 m in AR-21-268 (1128-1135 m), and 0.10% over 1 m at Camp East. A 2022 summer program of 3 rigs and 12,000 m, plus geophysics, has started. Follows the earlier 8.5 m composite report.
The 2021 program of 18 holes (10,849 m) found radioactivity below Arrow, with hole AR-21-268 hitting 8.5 m of mineralisation about 230 m below known zones. Regional holes at Camp East and Derkson showed weaker radioactivity. These are scintillometer readings, not assays; follow-up is planned for 2022.
NexGen began 2021 site studies and regional exploration drilling at Rook I, targeting areas within 10 km of Arrow, including Arrow 2.0 (over 300 m deeper), Camp East and Derkson Corridor. First exploration drilling since focus was on developing Arrow.
