28 July 2026drilling result● Neutral

Nexa reported first-half 2026 drilling: 123,455 m in total (99,116 m infill, 24,339 m exploration), with top hits of 5.1 m at 13.93% Zn at Vazante's Conexão Sucuri Norte and 64.7 m at 6.33% Zn, 2.71% Pb and 502.08 g/t Ag at El Porvenir's Integración target. Nexa says the results support potential resource growth and mine-life extension; no resource figures are given. The 2026 exploration drilling plan was raised 12% to 66,805 m from 59,870 m (extra drilling at Namibia and Cerro Pasco), within unchanged guidance. At Aripuanã, no exploration drilling took place and geophysics was deferred to the second half due to operational delays, and the Hilarión drilling (4,000 m planned) was rescheduled for community engagement.

5 Mar 2020resource reserve update▲ GoodMajor

Nexa released the preliminary economic assessment for Hilarión, due by end-2019 per earlier filings and now delivered in March 2020. It envisions a 16-year underground mine at 10,000 tonnes per day, averaging about 115kt of zinc a year (about 150kt zinc equivalent), with capex of US$585 million, after-tax NPV of US$231 million at 8% and IRR of 15.5%. The filing calls it a conceptual study with no certainty the forecasts will be realized; Nexa says it is still early stage and expects a pre-feasibility study in the medium term, and Hilarión remains 100% held by Nexa Perú (80% owned by Nexa).

11 Dec 2019drilling result▲ Good

Nexa reported 2019 drilling at the Babaçu target next to Aripuanã, which it calls its best intersection there so far: hole BRAPD000057 hit 257 meters at 3.71% zinc, 1.87% lead and 0.36% copper. Babaçu has an unproven exploration target of 25-45 million tonnes (the filing says this is conceptual, not a mineral resource), and about 8,000 meters of further drilling is planned for 2020; mine production is still expected to start in 2021.

13 Aug 2019drilling result▲ Good

Nexa reported first-half 2019 drilling at its 100%-owned Hilarión zinc project in Peru: 5 directional holes (4,650 meters) extended mineralization about 1 km northeast, narrowing the gap to the El Padrino deposit to 1.5 km. It gave a conceptual exploration target for Hilarión North of 30-120 million tonnes at 3.0-8.0% zinc equivalent, which the filing says is not a mineral resource; a preliminary economic assessment is expected by end of 2019.
