Half-year to 31 December 2009 shows a loss of $657,734, against a $131,529 loss a year earlier; the table shows a $565,000 diminution of value in financial assets (inference: likely the Jervois shares). Bunnawarra and Africa updates repeat earlier news.

December 2009 quarter: no significant work on Bunnawarra, and Africa uranium has no activity. Cash rose to $1.513m, although the quarter's financing inflow of $675,000 is not explained in the text.
Bunnawarra drilling (1,205m aircore, three lines) found no economic molybdenum, and gold and silver were below the surface anomaly. One hole had anomalous rare earths needing further assay. New Age's share is now up to 40%. Cash was $910,000.
Drilling is to begin at Bunnawarra that week, with Jervois as partner, mainly testing the molybdenum anomaly and some gold anomalies. This follows the rain delays and the earlier auger results.
Annual report for the year to 30 June 2009: a profit of $51,606, against a $406,733 loss in 2008, with no dividend. Directors unchanged. Bunnawarra drilling is planned from 14 September 2009 after over two months of rain delays.
June 2009 quarter: heavy rain has postponed Bunnawarra drilling, though drill lines are bulldozed and the crew is on standby. Africa uranium has no activity. Cash was $975,000, of which $800,000 is held in deposits.
March 2009 quarter: confirms the Jervois joint venture ended with $300,000 reimbursed, and Bunnawarra now shared equally with Jervois ($70,000 reimbursed). Raised $780,000 from 6m shares at 13 cents, and spent $800,000 on Jervois shares. Cash was $1.041m.

New Age exits the Jervois uranium and gold joint venture: Jervois repays about $300,000 of costs, and New Age gets a 2% gold royalty and $2/lb uranium royalty. Jervois subscribes 6m New Age shares at $0.13 ($780,000), reaching about 16%; New Age buys 200m Jervois shares at $0.004 ($800,000). Jervois now shares Bunnawarra, with $70,000 reimbursed.
Jervois's own announcement of the same deal: it takes back the uranium and gold tenements, New Age gets royalties, and shares are swapped (200m Jervois at $0.004; 6m New Age at $0.13). Adds a planned uranium IPO for Jervois and New Age shareholders, plus Jervois-specific items.
Half year to 31 December 2008: loss of $131,529, down 52.4% on the prior period, on lower administration costs. No dividend. Directors unchanged. Project updates repeat known facts: Bunnawarra geophysics talks and uranium work still awaiting surveys.
December 2008 quarter: Bunnawarra E59/1391 was granted, with auger anomalies in copper, gold and a molybdenum zone about 4km by 600m; extensive drilling is intended. E59/1257 is now granted, but uranium drilling still awaits flora and fauna surveys. Africa has no activity.
Cover note adding the competent person statement (D. Foster, AusIMM) to the 2008 Annual Report lodged 30 September 2008. Administrative; no new company information.
The Bunnawarra tenement E59/1391 was granted, resolving the pending application from the May 2008 Redfeather deal. Auger sampling found copper, gold and molybdenum anomalies, including a molybdenum zone about 4km by 600m. An extensive drilling program is intended.
Notice that 19,250,000 restricted unlisted ordinary shares will be released from escrow on 12 November 2008. Administrative; these are shares already issued, so no new capital is raised.
September 2008 quarter: uranium drilling is still awaiting flora and fauna surveys, now expected in the December quarter. Bullabulling South auger sampling found gold anomalies up to 1,010ppb. The Africa arrangement has had no recent activity reported, and E59/1257 remains ungranted.
Annual report for the year to 30 June 2008: loss of $406,733 (2006: $204,272), no dividends. Directors are unchanged: Stoyle, Wing and Rice. The review repeats the Bunnawarra deal and uranium projects.
June 2008 quarter: Bunnawarra (ELA59/1391) is still awaiting grant, with geophysics firms being approached. Uranium drilling remains stuck on approvals and botanist surveys due August. Cash fell to $1.076m, with $111k spent in the quarter.
New Age signed a binding deal with Redfeather to earn up to 80% of the Bunnawarra iron ore tenement application (180 sq km, Mid West WA). It must spend $1.35m on exploration and issue $150k of shares. This is a new direction away from uranium.
March 2008 quarter: uranium drilling at Nalbarra, Lake Barlee West and Lake Giles awaits government approvals, expected by end June 2008; earlier surface sampling found only low-grade uranium. Cash fell to $1.187m. A hydrogeology survey is planned at Bullabulling South; the Africa work continues.
Share registry Link Market Services notified a change of its Melbourne office address from 1 May 2008, applying to many listed companies including New Age. Administrative; no company substance.
Chairman's AGM address repeats the failed Bullabulling South drilling (17 holes, 2,030m, nothing significant) and says no further work is anticipated there. Auger sampling found uranium in 19 of 23 holes at West Barlee, with lab results awaited. Africa work continues.
September 2007 quarter: the Bullabulling South drilling (17 holes, 2,030m) found no significant gold or base metals; the IP sulphides were thought to be clay zones. This resolves the drilling thread negatively. Cash was $1.489m; uranium auger drilling began at Lake Giles, and Nalbarra E59/1257 is held up by a native title overlap.
A drill rig started on 11 August 2007 at Bullabulling South, the 2,500m programme that had slipped from June. It targets nickel/copper sulphides and gold to 150m; the third hole was under way. No results yet.
June 2007 quarter: a contract is let for the 2,500m Bullabulling South drilling, now due early August, targeting nickel/copper and gold to 150m. Cash was $1.599m at quarter end after $205k spent. Nalbarra E59/1257 awaits grant; African uranium evaluation is under way in Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali.
