Palm Springs 2021 season has started: pit dewatering and a 7,000m drill program are planned from May. At Juruena, JUDD042 is at 650m with bornite noted, but a COVID case caused a brief site evacuation. A Juruena resource update is expected before end of April.
First deep hole JUDD042 reached 500m, nearing the IP anomaly; from 440m more pyrite plus molybdenite and magnetite veins, which the company notes are common in porphyry systems. Earlier hole JUDD039 reported 51m at 1.40 g/t gold and 0.25% copper at Crentes. No deep result yet.
Half-year to 31 December 2020: net loss $4.0M (prior period $3.76M), cash $6.35M (June 2020: $6.51M), net assets $7.34M. Recaps the 26-hole Palm Springs program and its best result, 69m at 4.38 g/t. No new results.
Deep drilling began 15 February at Juruena, the first of three holes averaging 1,200m (about 3,600m total) testing the IP anomaly for a possible giant copper-gold porphyry. The program is expected to take at least three months, with regular updates promised.
Final seven Palm Springs holes returned, best 25m at 2.46 g/t in BCRD480, completing the 26-hole 2020 program. Gold is confirmed over 360m southwest of the pit. 2021 plans step-out drilling and infill for a maiden resource estimate.
Meteoric is starting a first 3-hole, about 3,600m diamond program at Juruena in early February, rig already on site. It tests the IP chargeability anomaly, whose top is modelled 500m deep, for a possible copper-gold porphyry.

Placement of 70.2M shares at $0.057 to raise $4M, a 9.5% discount to the last price, with one free three-year $0.10 option per two shares. Tolga Kumova takes $1M; a Keith Biggs-led syndicate $2M. Funds go to Palm Springs and Juruena drilling.
What it means for a shareholder
70.2m new shares at $0.057 to raise about $4.0m. Shares on issue before the raise aren't in the record, so the dilution can't be worked out.
Deep IP survey at Juruena found a large chargeability anomaly over 2,000m long and 1,500m wide, less than 500m below surface. Company interprets it as possible porphyry copper-gold sulphides; it is untested. Drilling is planned for early 2021 after data processing.
Second Palm Springs batch includes 69m at 4.4 g/t gold and 55m at 3.2 g/t, both with visible gold. Mineralisation is now shown over 700m of strike and remains open to the southwest. Twelve holes still await assay, due December/January.
Noosa conference presentation recapping Palm Springs and Juruena. Shows 1.24B shares, $4.8M September-quarter cash and a $68M market cap at 5.5c; Tolga Kumova holds 12%. Juruena resource update planned at end of 2020 campaign. No new results.

Sale of Midrim and LaForce to Rafaella completed for 13.05M Rafaella shares, valued at $1,174,500 at $0.09 per share. This resolves the pending sale announced in August, up from the roughly $860k first quoted. Meteoric keeps exposure via the shares.
First seven Palm Springs holes all hit gold, including 56m at 2.7 g/t and 45m at 2.3 g/t. Mineralisation extends 360m south of the old Butchers Creek pit and remains open. The 26-hole program finished 23 Oct; 19 holes still await assay.
Juruena hole JUDD031 hit 14.3m at 10.2 g/t gold below the 2016 Dona Maria resource, plus 1.1m at 93 g/t. Meteoric now plans a new resource estimate for Q1 2021 and an updated scoping study. Palm Springs assays are expected late October or early November.
Rafaella extended its conditional agreement to buy Meteoric's Midrim and Laforce projects, from 42 to 73 days after the 17 August signing. This allows time for its shareholder meeting on 29 October. The sale is still pending.
