Mount Isa RC drilling continues: Queens Gift found a new southern zone (38 m at 426 ppm), Slance NW hit 28 m at 1,074 ppm eU3O8, and Isa West's second phase is complete. Total 155 holes this year. Extends earlier results.
Re-release of the 5 November Namibian presentation because one slide was illegible after PDF conversion. The slide was replaced with three clearer ones. No new substance.
Presentation to Namibia's Uranium Stewardship Committee on the Omahola project, largely repeating known Inca drilling (e.g. 121 m at 405 ppm) and the two-stage plan from the 5 November announcement. No new resource or financial figures are evident in the text.
DYL proposes an early Namibian mining licence application for Omahola (Inca and Tubas Red Sand) on EPL 3496, in two environmental stages. Rossing Uranium agreed in writing to consider buying iron from Inca. JORC resources are still being completed.
Brisbane Mining 2009 presentation by Martin Kavanagh largely repeats known Namibian and Mount Isa drilling results. It cites about A$41m cash and liquid assets, 1,123,876,958 shares, and Namibian exploration spend of about A$1.5m a month.
Mount Isa drilling continues to return wide intercepts of about 400 ppm. Queens Gift hole QGRC078 hit 'blind' mineralisation, 19 m at 1,000 ppm eU3O8 from 274 m, with underground potential. Thanksgiving and Bambino deep holes confirm continuity near 200 m depth.
DYL appointed MSA Consulting (South Africa) for JORC resources at Inca, Tubas Red Sand and Aussinanis, and Coffey Mining for five Mount Isa prospects. Tubas Red Sand comes first, then Inca (aim 7,000-9,000 t at 400+ ppm). No timetables are set yet.
More Inca grid results, e.g. 32 m at 624 ppm and 55 m at 502 ppm eU3O8. RC drilling in the grid should finish within 3 weeks, diamond tails a few weeks later, then JORC estimation starts. Feasibility target remains 1,000-1,500 t U3O8 a year.
2009 Annual Report. The chairman highlights Inca Deeps, the palaeochannel intersections, renewed Namibian licences and the Toro/Nova JV for 65%. He says JORC resource work was delayed by data volume and logging-tool software issues; consultants will complete the estimates.
Responding to an ASX query, DYL clarified its resource figures: 'about 35,000 t' in the presentation should read 34,688 t, being 31,337 t Namibian heap-leach material at 150 ppm plus 3,351 t at Napperby. Formal JORC total is unchanged at 24,418 t.
Africa Downunder conference presentation by Dr Pretorius largely repeats known Inca, Tubas Red Sand and palaeochannel information. It cites about A$47m cash and liquid assets and 1,123,376,958 shares, and a combined Namibian heap-leach resource figure of 31,337 t U3O8 at 150 ppm.
Inca grid drilling keeps hitting wide zones, e.g. 121 m at 405 ppm eU3O8 and 50 m at 605 ppm. About 30 holes remain; slow diamond tails delay completion. Palaeochannel reconnaissance is finished. Consultant selection is due by October; target remains 8,000-10,000 t.
Queens Gift RC drilling confirmed and extended mineralisation, e.g. 27 m at 569 ppm U3O8, and Bambino deep holes hit 17 m at 433 ppm at about 200 m vertical depth, the target depth. A second Isa West phase starts within days.
Reptile contracted Geotech Airborne for a roughly 6,087 line-km helicopter geophysical survey over two western Nova JV tenements, to take 4-6 weeks. It looks for Inca-style host rocks. Drill testing of any anomalies follows, a first step on the Toro JV ground agreed in May.
Conference presentation by Dr Pretorius largely repeats known Inca, Tubas Red Sand and Tumas information. It states the aim to drill out about 8,000 t of U3O8 at +400 ppm at Inca by October, and gives about $50m cash and liquid assets, and 1,123,476,958 shares on issue.
Inca drilling is returning results above 400 ppm, the grade DYL's own modelling needs for an open pit, e.g. INCRD173 8 m at 995 ppm eU3O8. DYL's concept is about 1,000 t a year of U3O8, combining Inca and Tubas Red Sand ore, from an initial 8,000-10,000 t resource. Column leach tests gave recoveries above 80%. Consultants for the feasibility study are expected to be named in the third quarter.
Isa West Bambino and Thanksgiving RC drilling keeps returning wide medium-grade intercepts, e.g. 25 m at 532 ppm eU3O8. Also, the first Bambino diamond hole returned 17 m at 605 ppm. 81 holes are done. The Stage 1 program ends about 31 July, followed by a review.
Further palaeochannel reconnaissance results include TUMR1063 9 m at 1,171 ppm and TUMR636 13 m at 882 ppm U3O8. About 20 km of channel remains untested (was almost 50 km on 16 June). Detail resource drilling is expected to start in the third quarter.
Pieter Niemann, formerly of BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam and Rio Tinto's Rossing mine, is appointed Manager - Projects in Namibia. He will advance Inca and Tubas Red Sand scoping studies and select consulting engineers, supporting the May shift to project development.

Namibia's mines ministry renewed Reptile's Tubas, Tumas and Ripnes licences for two more years with no area cut. Reptile agreed to give BEE partner Oponona 5% of any project in those licences when a Mining Licence is sought.
More reconnaissance holes on the Tumas-Oryx-Tubas channel hit carnotite, e.g. TUBR697 8 m at 2,360 ppm U3O8 and TUMR450 3 m at 1,501 ppm. Almost 50 km of channel is still untested before detail drilling starts. Follows the 9 June TUMR332 result.
Reconnaissance drilling on the Tumas-Oryx palaeochannel, Namibia, hit 39 m at 1,254 ppm U3O8 in hole TUMR332, including 3 m at 13,856 ppm (1.4%) chemical assay. Mineralised holes will be drilled out on a detail grid. Extends the Tumas resource area.
Duplicate of the joint Toro-DYL release: DYL to spend A$3.5m over 2.5 years on three Toro Namibian EPLs to earn 65%, Toro 25%, Sixzone 10%. No new substance.
DYL, through Reptile, will spend A$3.5m over 2.5 years on Toro's three Namibian EPLs (3668, 3669, 3670) to earn 65%. Toro keeps 25%, BEE partner Sixzone 10%. Adds exploration ground near Langer Heinrich and Inca-style targets.
Isa West Thanksgiving gamma results include 55 m at 587 ppm and 3 m at 2,902 ppm eU3O8, adding to 2008 results. Nine holes drilled; mineralisation open to the north and at depth. Gamma estimates, not chemical assays.
First Inca Deeps pre-collar/diamond-tail hole INCRD155 returned 55 m at 722 ppm eU3O8 from 186 m, including 16 m at 1,938 ppm. Gamma value only, no chemical assay yet. Four more similar holes planned before deepening older holes.
Chemical assays confirm Eldorado North gamma results, e.g. 6 m at 1,950 ppm U3O8, close to earlier 2,216 ppm eU3O8. Bambino gamma logging shows extensions, e.g. 15 m at 554 ppm eU3O8. 26 holes drilled; 20 more planned at Thanksgiving and Turpentine.
DYL shifts from exploration to project development: Inca, Inca Deeps and Tubas Red Sand come first, then resource drilling in Namibia (20,000 m on Tumas-Oryx from May) and Mt Isa. Dr Pretorius moves to run Namibia; an Australian MD is to be sought within six months.
