History
Aether Global, a Vancouver drone company, raised small amounts of money, then bought a private firm tied to drone developer Xentera in 2025, before a brief trading halt.
2019-2023: Funding the business
Aether Global Innovations Corp., formerly Plymouth Rock Technologies, is a Vancouver drone management and automation company. The record for 2019 to 2022 is quiet: the share count rose from 32,796,600 at the end of 2019 to 59,317,461 by the end of 2022, but the beats do not explain why.
In July 2023 the company closed the first part of a private placement, selling 9,907,000 units at $0.06 each for gross proceeds of $594,420. Each unit carried one share and one warrant, a right to buy another share at $0.10 for five years. Finders received $59,442 in fees and 990,700 warrants. The money was meant for working capital and business development. The share count reached 105,504,461 by the end of 2023.
2024: A cheaper raising and a deal on the horizon
In March 2024 Aether announced a further placement of up to 10,000,000 units at $0.05 CAD, aiming for up to $500,000 CAD, a lower price than the July 2023 units. The records do not say whether it closed.
In August the company signed a non-binding letter of intent to buy 1401068 BC Ltd., a private British Columbia company investing in early-stage technology ventures, in an all-share deal. That company planned to lend Aether $50,000, to be forgiven if the deal completed. On November 6 a definitive securities exchange agreement followed: 19,100,100 Aether shares at a deemed $0.025 each. The target was securing a right to acquire up to 12.5% of drone developer Xentera Technologies for US$300,000. Closing required exchange approval, an equity offering of at least $500,000 net, and a final agreement with Xentera.
2025: Closing the acquisition
Aether completed the acquisition around June 13, 2025, issuing the 19,100,100 shares. It also corrected a June 6 release: Xentera is still developing its long-range drone, so earlier statements described expected abilities, not current ones. Whether the earn-in with Xentera was finalized is not confirmed.
On June 17 the British Columbia Securities Commission imposed a cease trade order, halting trading in the shares. The reason was not stated. On July 7, 2025 the company said the order had been revoked and trading on the CSE had resumed.
