On March 30, 2009 the company and its Hycroft Resources & Development subsidiary signed a CDN$8 million secured bridge loan with Ionic Capital Corp. and drew the full amount that day. It bears 15% interest compounded monthly, is due by September 30, 2010, carries a CDN$80,000 structuring fee, and is secured by the company's interest in the Komatsu mining fleet. It must be prepaid if the company completes a public equity or debt offering. Executive Chairman Robert Buchan again disclosed he is a participant, as with the 2008 Ionic facility.
