Limestone Well soil sampling found anomalous vanadium and titanium (peak 470ppm vanadium, 1.4% titanium), and ground magnetics found a magnetic body matching the soil anomaly. Six RC holes of about 150m are planned once a rig is available.
AGM presentation: 722,464,650 shares, share price $0.002, market cap $1.4M, cash $0.2M at 30 September. Limestone Well drilling is expected November or December 2018. Mostly restates known projects.
Chairman's AGM address: the Western Queen gold program was disappointing and the project went back to Ramelius. The company now has Moolyella lithium and Limestone Well vanadium, with Limestone Well drilling planned next quarter. Repeats known facts.
September quarter: cash fell to $0.23M after $146,000 spend. Moolyella rock samples returned up to 3,160 ppm lithium and 710 ppm tin. Limestone Well soil sampling and ground magnetics done, with drilling expected late November or December.
Appendix 4G corporate governance checklist lodged with the annual report, pointing to the governance statement on the company website. Administrative filing with no new information for shareholders.
Annual financial report for the year to 30 June 2018, with directors' report and board details (Glenn Davis chairman since 17 April 2018, Ian Gordon MD, Paul Payne director). The visible text gives no new financial figures; it largely repeats known events.
Monax agreed to farm in to Mithril's two Limestone Well vanadium/titanium tenements near Meekatharra, WA, next to Neometals' Barrambie deposit. It can earn 60% by spending $1.5m over three years, and up to 80% for $2.5m over five years. Minimum first-year spend is $150,000.
Mithril, the tenement holder, confirms the same Limestone Well farm-in: Monax can earn up to 80% by spending $2.5M over 5 years. Mithril says this lets it stay focused on its Kurnalpi nickel and Billy Hills zinc projects. Duplicate of Monax's own release.
June quarter: cash was $0.37M after $149k exploration and $104k corporate spend. Covers the Moolyella lithium option, the $184,968 placement and the Western Queen withdrawal. Moolyella sample results are due in the September quarter.
Monax withdrew from the Western Queen earn-in with Ramelius, ending the project it entered in September 2017. Recent drilling downgraded the chance of extending the high-grade resource, and pegmatite sampling showed too little lithium to justify more work.

Monax raised $184,968 from sophisticated investors via a placement of 57.8m shares at 0.32 cents each. Funds are for early Moolyella lithium exploration and to review and acquire new battery metals projects.

Monax took an option to acquire 90% of the Moolyella lithium, tin and tantalum licence (90km2) in the Pilbara. It pays $18,000 now; exercise costs $50,000 plus 15m shares. Sampling is planned for June quarter, with drilling possible in September quarter.
Monax answered an ASX query over its low cash: $466k at 31 March against $257k forecast outflow next quarter. It says it can continue operating and still holds its full Listing Rule 7.1A placement capacity to raise funds if needed.
The deep diamond hole below the Western Queen pit (MXDD006, 448m) hit the expected zone but returned no significant assays. Monax will review further gold work and is now focusing on acquiring a battery metals project.
March quarter: cash was $0.46M. RC hole MXRC002 returned 4m at 1 g/t and the 450m diamond hole awaits assays. Glenn Davis is chairman, Paul Payne a director, and the Percyville option was allowed to lapse. A new lithium licence was applied for near Greenbushes.
All approvals received for Western Queen drilling: one diamond hole below the pit and two RC holes to the north, finishing by mid-April. Field visits to two Murchison lithium prospects found no spodumene and pegmatites too limited, so no further work there.
Chairman Robert Kennedy has died. He was a director since 2004 and founding chairman since the 2005 listing. The board will need a new chair; the text gives no further impact on operations.
Geologist Paul Payne, founding MD of Dacian Gold and the company's resource consultant, joined the board as non-executive director to maintain a quorum after the chairman's death. An interim chairman is to be elected at the next board meeting.
Half-year to 31 December 2017 shows a net loss of $358,780, versus $811,353 a year earlier. Restates the Western Queen resource of 120,000 oz and the Croydon sale. The board is reviewing Percyville for commerciality.

Monax raised $328,000 from existing shareholders via a placement of 82m shares at 0.4 cents each. Funds go to the Western Queen follow-up drilling (900m diamond, 240m RC, 1,000m aircore) and to speed up lithium exploration. Cash was only $0.28M at December.
What it means for a shareholder
82.0m new shares at $0.004 to raise about $328,000. Shares on issue before the raise aren't in the record, so the dilution can't be worked out.
Monax outlined six months of planned work at Western Queen: two diamond holes (900m) below the pit, two RC holes (240m) to the north, and 1,000m of aircore. It also applied for two new Murchison lithium licences, Bald Hill and Black Hill.
December quarter: cash fell to $0.28M after $245k exploration and $109k corporate spend. Repeats the five-hole program (best 3.3m at 7.98 g/t) and the 120,000 oz resource. Notes Croydon was divested to Wilson Minerals and Percyville is to be divested.
Monax booked a first Western Queen resource of 0.96Mt at 3.9 g/t for 120,000 oz gold (Indicated and Inferred), including 83,000 oz at Western Queen South from its recent drilling. Delivers the resource promised for January; both deposits remain open down-plunge.
Western Queen South drilling hit 3.3m at 7.98 g/t gold, confirming high-grade continuity at least 60m beyond earlier drilling, and the zone remains open. A resource estimate is now expected by end of January 2018; more drilling follows in the June quarter.
The maiden Western Queen program finished with five diamond holes at Western Queen South, one more than planned. Assays are due mid-January 2018, with a resource estimate targeted for mid-February 2018.
Chairman's AGM address recapping the year: Ian Gordon's appointment, the Western Queen farm-in, the Croydon sale and drilling now under way. It repeats known facts and adds no new figures.
AGM presentation sets a new focus on Western Australian gold and battery metals, with Croydon being sold and Percyville under review. Plans a Western Queen scoping study by June 2018. Shows 577.97m shares, $4.6M market cap at 0.8c, and $0.6M cash.
Diamond drilling started at Western Queen, with four holes planned at Western Queen South ahead of a new resource estimate. Drilling should finish before Christmas, with results shortly after.
