Two more orthogonal holes extended the first high-grade subzone up to 70 metres deeper: 114.50 metres at 5.00 g/t gold-equivalent inside 263.85 metres at 3.10 g/t, and 30.25 metres at 5.10 g/t clipping the eastern edge. The subzone now measures roughly 180m by 70m by 70m, and the company has modelled eleven of them.
With more than US$78 million in treasury after the Agnico money, expanded the 2025 program from 60,000 to 70,000 metres across Guayabales and San Antonio with up to ten rigs, and pulled forward baseline environmental, hydrological and metallurgical work so permitting could start sooner.
75.80 metres at 8.01 g/t gold-equivalent in APC105-D1, the best Ramp Zone intercept so far on a grade-times-width basis, with a second hole cut short by a post-mineral dyke after 20.30 metres at 6.68 g/t. Six Ramp Zone holes assayed from three pads; a third rig was added.
106.35 metres at 9.05 g/t gold-equivalent inside 497.35 metres at 3.01 g/t in APC104-D5 - 1,499 gram-metres, the best hole drilled at Apollo to that date on a grade-times-width basis, and a deeper cut of the same subzone found in December.
The deepest hole ever drilled at Apollo, bottoming near 1,200 metres, cut 51.95 metres at 8.38 g/t gold-equivalent including 18.05 metres at 16.32 g/t, expanding the Ramp Zone about 50 metres along strike and 150 metres vertically. The company compares it to Aris Mining's Marmato Deeps deposit 1.75km along strike, which is under construction.
Restarted drilling at San Antonio, the project the company discovered on its way to Guayabales in 2021 and then shelved, with a minimum 2,500 metres to test three gold-copper porphyry targets along a 2.5km corridor.
The second orthogonal hole extended the high-grade subzone up to 50 metres laterally: 181.35 metres at 5.38 g/t gold-equivalent inside 402.60 metres at 3.06 g/t. Two more holes had already cut the same projection with assays pending.
Final 2024 results from Trap and Plutus. Trap expanded north within its main zone and turned up a new high-grade vein system in the south, including 40.5 metres at 4.01 g/t gold-equivalent and 0.8 metres at 816 g/t gold; Plutus kept cutting shallow, low-grade porphyry. Trap then goes quiet in this record until April 2026.
The first hole drilled at right angles across Apollo, rather than along it, cut 150.55 metres at 6.16 g/t gold-equivalent inside 534.40 metres at 2.70 g/t - the best hole to that date. The insight is geometric: previously modelled high-grade subzones only show their true width when drilled orthogonally, and they span over 1,000 vertical metres.
Found a near-surface oxidised silver zone in northern Apollo: 75.45 metres at 80 g/t silver-equivalent including 13.0 metres at 315 g/t. Low grade next to Apollo's gold intercepts, but it sits at surface.
A hole on the northeastern flank returned 150.50 metres at 1.74 g/t gold-equivalent including 42.0 metres at 4.02 g/t, opening Apollo up along its northern side. About 101,000 metres had been drilled at Guayabales to date, 67,000 of it at Apollo, and a 60,000-metre program was set for 2025.
A hole aimed near a conceptual underground access tunnel found a new high-grade zone at about 1,000 metres depth, named the Ramp Zone: 57.65 metres at 8.18 g/t gold-equivalent including 18.85 metres at 20.21 g/t. It becomes the most important target on the property over the following two years.
Four reconnaissance holes at Plutus outlined a porphyry system from surface - 328.05 metres at 0.31 g/t gold-equivalent - grade an order of magnitude below what Apollo returns, with the company suggesting a better core may lie north and deeper.
Four directional holes pushed Apollo southwest and carried the high-grade vein zones past 1,000 metres depth, on 39.95 metres at 4.42 g/t gold-equivalent. Apollo is an outcropping breccia body overprinted by later high-grade veins, and it stays mineralised all the way down.
Four more holes stretched Trap 350 metres along strike and found a new near-surface zone named Blackjack, on 30 metres at 4.96 g/t gold-equivalent from 11.85 metres downhole.
Started a first drill program at Plutus, a copper-gold porphyry target one kilometre east of Apollo, alongside assay results from the finished reconnaissance drilling at Box. Sussman was explicit that greenfield porphyry discoveries are rare and this is a long shot taken from a position of strength.
Eight holes showed that the Olympus and Apollo zones are one continuous system, now called Apollo, with 256.35 metres at 1.23 g/t gold-equivalent. Merging two separately reported discoveries into one body is what makes a bulk-tonnage mine plan possible.
Four holes at Trap, 3.5km northeast of the flagship Apollo system at Guayabales in Caldas, Colombia, returned 40.85 metres at 3.76 g/t gold-equivalent inside 174.45 metres at 1.19 g/t. Executive chairman Ari Sussman called Trap a future multi-million-ounce system; five rigs were turning on a 40,000-metre program.
