September quarter report recaps Yanrey aircore results, Red Banks anomalism over 6 km, the option offer closing and the West Lake Frome farm-in with Uranium Equities. Beadell drilling about to start. Cash figures not visible in the text provided.
Red Banks drilling at Marree (30 holes, 2,266m) found a redox front over about 6 km, with a peak of 153 ppm eU3O8 and 0.35m @ 127 ppm. Modest grades but a new target; a further 4,000m is being planned with the Korean partners.
The 2,709,583 shortfall options from the August option offer were issued, completing the entitlement issue. Listed options now 12.9m. Small raising (1c each, so about A$27k for the shortfall).
Yanrey aircore drilling finished: 4,585m across four of five targets over 40 km, finding two new uranium palaeochannels 30-40 km south of Bennet Well. Best intercept 1.88m @ 430 ppm eU3O8. Extends the August high-grade find; follow-up drilling is being planned.
A 3,000m mud rotary program starts at Red Banks in the north-west of Marree, with wide 3.2 km by 1.6 km spacing over a 12 km zone. Korean consortium funds it; earlier Blanchewater drilling peaked at 245 ppm.
Option offer closed with 6,162,825 options accepted, about 70%, leaving a shortfall of 2,709,583 that directors will try to place. At 1c each, accepted options raise about A$62k.
Prospectus for the option offer (up to 8,872,408 options at 1c, exercisable at 45c) was posted on 10 September; acceptances close 24 September. Administrative notice.
Uranium Equities can earn 80% of Cauldron's West Lake Frome project in South Australia by funding A$5m over five years, with a minimum A$0.7m including 4,000m of drilling before it can withdraw. Cauldron's own cost is carried; licence renewal is a precondition.
Uranium Equities' version of the West Lake Frome farm-in with Cauldron: it can earn 80% of 1,444 sq km by spending A$5m over five years, with a A$0.7m minimum. Renewal of the licences is a precondition.
Letter to optionholders restating the option offer. Optionholders cannot participate unless they exercise before the 6 September record date. No new information.
Shareholder letter restating the option offer: one 45c option per ten shares at 1c, record date 6 September, closing 24 September. Shares last traded at 22.5c. No new information.
Full prospectus for the option entitlement offer: up to 8,872,408 options at 1c, exercisable at 45c by 31 October 2012, to raise up to A$88,724. Quotation to be sought. Restates the earlier announcement.
Cauldron offers shareholders one 45c option (expiring 31 Oct 2012) per ten shares held, priced at 1c each, up to 8.87m options. Record date 6 Sept, closes 24 Sept. Raises at most about A$88,724.
First of five Yanrey targets, 1.5 km south of Bennet Well, found new high-grade uranium: 1.50m @ 1152 ppm and 2.18m @ 657 ppm eU3O8. Mineralisation open, over 2.5 km strike. 16 of 4,000m aircore holes done; a positive early result.
Amended Appendix 5B for June 2010 quarter: cash at end A$4.866m, down from A$6.461m; operating outflow A$1.5m. Next quarter outflows estimated at A$1.55m, no debt facilities.
June 2010 quarter: Marree drilling (3,421m) outlined a 2 km uranium zone; first Las Marias hole LMD009 hit 2.44m @ 126 ppm; Yanrey aircore began; Beadell drilling slips to September quarter. Eclipse spin-out still pending ASX listing. Cash A$4.87m.
Board warns shareholders that unsolicited letters from Carina Capital, for McNaughton Acquisitions, offer an 'investment opportunity' using CXU shares, in UK litigation funding assets. Directors unanimously advise taking no action without professional advice. Not a bid for Cauldron.
Marree drilling of 19 holes (2,394m) at MacDonnell Creek outlines a 2 km by 400-800m low-grade uranium zone; peak stays 245 ppm eU3O8. Another 9 holes were drilled at Spring Creek; a further 5,000m is planned. Low-grade, but extends the discovery.
Cauldron confirms the Eclipse IPO stays open pending a supplementary prospectus, and its option to Eclipse is extended three months beyond the 30 June expiry. A neighbour's high-grade result 10 km from the Eclipse Project is noted. The spin-out is delayed.
Dourado says Eclipse will keep its IPO open and lodge a supplementary prospectus, with closing extended about a month after. Cauldron has extended Eclipse's option by three months. Nearby Energy Metals reported 9.8m at 10,567ppm eU3O8.
The Eclipse Uranium IPO closing date is extended to 5 July 2010, with quotation expected around 14 July. Eclipse has exercised its option over Cauldron's Northern Territory tenements, so the spin-out moves closer, but still depends on the IPO and ASX listing.
Dourado's version of the Eclipse IPO extension to 5 July 2010. It adds that commitments are moving toward the A$5m minimum subscription, implying the raise had not yet reached it (inference).
Drilling starts at Las Marias, San Juan, Argentina, Cauldron's first program there: 500-600m of core targeting extensions of surface uranium up to 1,305 ppm. Results are expected mid to late June. Sage says later discretionary spending will likely favour overseas projects.
Chairman's letter to shareholders restates the Eclipse spin-out and points to Eclipse's prospectus. Cauldron's expected stake is now stated as 20-33% (March said 29-33%), and listing must occur before 31 July 2010. No new transaction.
A 2,000m mud rotary program starts at Spring Creek in the south-east of Marree, testing about 10 km of the Emu Fault Zone for Beverley-style high-grade uranium. Korean partners fund it; follows last year's low-grade Blanchewater results.
March 2010 quarter: the A$10m Chinese raising was completed, the Eclipse option over Northern Territory assets was signed, and Marree drilling began in April. Yanrey, Beadell and Las Marias drilling is due in the June quarter.
Half-year report to 31 December 2009 restates known events: the Jackson merger, Korean-funded Marree drilling (42 holes, 3,121m) and Blanchewater anomalism of 12 km by 4 km. Financial figures are not visible in the text provided.
