Mining 2012 convention presentation by Simon Youds repeating the Marree base metals and Yanrey uranium discoveries. It cites 155.3m shares and a market cap of A$69.9M at 45c. No new results.
Hole YNMR048 at Bennet Well East recorded a preliminary peak of 9,970 ppm eU3O8, with 3.3m @ 1,596 ppm from 57.7m. It is the highest grade so far in the new channel; results are field gamma readings, not yet validated.
Yanrey drilling defined a high-grade palaeochannel about 1.6km long and 120m wide, open north and south. All 15 holes hit uranium, 11 in the channel (preliminary peaks 3,706 ppm). The company expects the 25-30Mlb Exploration Target to be revised up, though it is still conceptual.
The first hole of the 5,000m Yanrey program found a new shallow palaeochannel: 2.7m @ 1,021 ppm eU3O8 from 40.6m (preliminary field gamma). It sits above the Bennet Well resource depth. Drilling that was scheduled for October has begun and runs to mid-November.
Surface sampling at Marree found an 8km x 10km silver-lead-zinc anomaly in the same province as Broken Hill. Peak rock-chips from old workings: 936 g/t silver, over 20% lead, 23% zinc. A new base metals thread beyond uranium; drilling is planned but not yet done.

A 5,000m Yanrey drilling program is scheduled for October 2012, targeting extensions to the Bennet Well resource (4.8Mlb inferred) and the Bennet Well South channels. It follows the favourable Native Title heritage ruling in late 2011.
All $11.3m of convertible notes converted to 58.8m shares at 20c, versus an 11c close on 26 July. This removes the July repayment problem raised earlier; shares on issue rise to about 155.1m. Yanrey drilling is expected within weeks.
June quarter: cash about $2.93m. Shareholders approved the convertible note changes on 25 May. Marree soil sampling and Yanrey drilling are being prepared; Marree drilling found a uranium-bearing palaeovalley needing follow-up.
Mining engineer Simon Youds, former CEO of African Iron, appointed Operations Consultant. He gets 2m options at $0.20 expiring 30 June 2014, vesting on Rio Colorado drilling starting or Yanrey resources above 10 and 15Mlb. Not a CEO appointment.
March quarter: cash about $3.07m plus $1.37m liquid assets. Marree drilling finished (39 holes, 4,982m) with widespread low-level uranium at Red Banks Well. Shareholders vote 25 May on converting $11.3m of notes at 20c, as the company lacks cash to repay them by July.
