Dourado says Eclipse will keep its IPO open and lodge a supplementary prospectus, with closing extended about a month after. Cauldron has extended Eclipse's option by three months. Nearby Energy Metals reported 9.8m at 10,567ppm eU3O8.
The Eclipse Uranium IPO closing date is extended to 5 July 2010, with quotation expected around 14 July. Eclipse has exercised its option over Cauldron's Northern Territory tenements, so the spin-out moves closer, but still depends on the IPO and ASX listing.
Dourado's version of the Eclipse IPO extension to 5 July 2010. It adds that commitments are moving toward the A$5m minimum subscription, implying the raise had not yet reached it (inference).
Drilling starts at Las Marias, San Juan, Argentina, Cauldron's first program there: 500-600m of core targeting extensions of surface uranium up to 1,305 ppm. Results are expected mid to late June. Sage says later discretionary spending will likely favour overseas projects.
Chairman's letter to shareholders restates the Eclipse spin-out and points to Eclipse's prospectus. Cauldron's expected stake is now stated as 20-33% (March said 29-33%), and listing must occur before 31 July 2010. No new transaction.
A 2,000m mud rotary program starts at Spring Creek in the south-east of Marree, testing about 10 km of the Emu Fault Zone for Beverley-style high-grade uranium. Korean partners fund it; follows last year's low-grade Blanchewater results.
Half-year report to 31 December 2009 restates known events: the Jackson merger, Korean-funded Marree drilling (42 holes, 3,121m) and Blanchewater anomalism of 12 km by 4 km. Financial figures are not visible in the text provided.
Cauldron outlines a 13,000m drilling program funded by the recent raising: 4,000m aircore at Yanrey (May), 1,500m RC at Beadell (April), 1,500m at Las Marias in Argentina, and 6,000m more at Marree. Delivers the drilling long flagged for 2010.

Cauldron agrees to give Eclipse Uranium, a planned IPO, an option over four granted and five applied-for Northern Territory uranium licences, expiring 30 June 2010. On exercise Cauldron gets 25m Eclipse shares (29-33% at listing) and two board seats, then focuses on Australia and Argentina.
Dourado Resources (ASX:DUO) announces its own spin-out of Northern Territory uranium assets into Eclipse for 25m shares (29-33%). Same Eclipse vehicle as Cauldron's option, so Eclipse would hold about 9,300 sq km. Cauldron is not a party to this release.
Cauldron receives the final A$5m of the A$10m Chinese investment, completing the A$7m convertible note after the A$3m placement. Management says it will step up drilling across its Australian and Argentine uranium projects in 2010.
Cauldron receives A$2m of the A$7m convertible note from the Chinese investors; the final A$5m is due by end of January 2010. Management calls the company well funded.
400,000 unlisted $2.25 options and 66,667 $1.50 options expired on 31 December 2009. Header now shows 88.7 million shares and 11.2 million options. Administrative only.
Cauldron receives the A$3m placement, 6m shares at 50c, to the Chinese investors, after AGM approval on 24 November. The A$7m convertible note balance is due in coming months.
Marree drilling (42 holes, 3,121m) finds uranium anomalism over 12 km by 4 km at Blanchewater, best 0.60m at 180 ppm eU3O8, peak 245 ppm. Low grades and wide spacing, but extends the October 2008 discovery; more drilling planned for 2010.

Cauldron raises A$10m from Chinese investors: A$7m convertible notes (50c conversion, 10% coupon, due 31 July 2012) and A$3m placement of about 6m shares at 50c, needing AGM approval. Qiu Derong joins the board; drilling rigs targeted at all major projects by Q1/Q2 2010.
Drilling starts at Marree, SA: a 4,000m mud rotary programme of 35-40 holes over a 16 km strike length, funded by the Korean partners' $6.2m earn-in. This follows the airborne survey and delivers the drilling flagged earlier.

Cauldron states an initial Exploration Target of 25 to 35 million pounds U3O8 at 300 to 900 ppm at Yanrey, beside Paladin's 24Mlb Manyingee. It is conceptual, not a resource; the only defined resource remains Bennet Well's 4.8Mlb inferred. Drilling depends on approvals and the wet season.
ASX queried the June quarter report: cash was $345k, quarterly operating outflow $546k and next-quarter exploration spend $200k. Cauldron replied it expects the convertible note funding, $1.8m from Korean partners, and possible sale of its listed shareholdings to cover costs, and says it is reviewing non-essential spending.
Cauldron received $1.9m in convertible note funding, including $1.5m from Cape Lambert's Dempsey. Notes carry 10% coupon, convert at 50c and are repayable by 31 July 2012. Far short of the $7.5m or more earlier flagged for the Greenday facility.
